How Balanced are You?

What would you like to accomplish in 2008?  Would you consider your life balanced?  Rate each of the categories below on a scale of 1-10, where 10 is the most satisified:

· Health
· Money
· Personal Growth
· Fun/Social Life
· Partner/Relationship
· Career/Business
· Friends/Family
· Physical Environment

If you could choose just one of the areas to change, which would it be?

· What would you need to do to make it a 9-10?
· How would life be different if you had this?
· What would you do differently if there was nothing stopping you?
· What's holding you back?

5 Basics for Optimal Health
True health is maintaining balance physically, emotionally & spiritually.  In order for your body to function optimally & be able to heal itself, you need to be proactive.  The 5 basics for optimal health are:
 
Food, Water, Rest, Exercise, Own Your Own Power
 
Food:
- Limit sugar & grains in your diet
- Eat a protien source every 2-3 hours (hard boiled eggs, raw almonds, string - cheese, natural peanut butter, lean chicken, pork or fish)
- Eat 7-9 servings of fruit & vegetables daily
- Take a high quality fish oil, like Krill Oil
Water:
- Drink 1 quart of water for every 50 lbs. of body weight
- That's 3-4 quarts of water per day for the majority of us.  Always round up.
 Rest:
- Get plenty of sleep (8-9 hours per night).
 Exercise:
- Stay active despite the weather! Get outside daily for a brisk walk & fresh air!
- Exercise regularly, 4-5 times per week, at moderate to high intensity for 20-30 minutes.
 Own Your Own Power:
- Make your emotional health a priority
- Express your feelings!
